VOLUNTEERS
VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering is a great way to support others, meet new people, and get actively involved in causes that are important and interesting to you. It’s a way to give your time and energy to something that benefits the community or a specific group of people.

Volunteering is not a full-time job or professional practice. It does not involve receiving a salary or official employment. Instead, it focuses on voluntarily and gratuitously helping those in need or supporting various initiatives and projects.
For ease of navigation, we have divided volunteers into 2 groups:
Providing informational assistance for those who have just moved to Finland.
Individually and in groups
Counselors with personal experience or a diagnosis similar to the client’s situation. Having successfully dealt with the situation, peer counselors are willing to share their experience.
Individual consultations
Russian-speaking psychologists and teachers who received their education and experience before moving to Finland are ready to share their knowledge and help others.
Индивидуально и в группах (lectures)
A collaborative learning opportunity where two people learn a foreign language and simultaneously share their native language. For example, Russian-Finnish.
Communication in pairs (no registration required on the website)
Support Group Leaders
Conducting support groups in Russian on various topics:
- mothers of special children
- caring for elderly relatives
etc.
Assistance in organizing and hosting cultural, sports, educational and other events.
